Women鈥檚 basketball hosts No. 6 Michigan, Nov. 26
Friday November 21, 2025Don鈥檛 miss the excitement as the 欧美日b大片 women鈥檚 basketball team takes on nationally-ranked Michigan on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. in historic Calihan Hall.
Free t-shirts will be available to the first 250 fans as the Titans face the Wolverines. Doors open at 4 p.m., and the game will stream live on ESPN+.

Day of Giving, Dec. 2, brings Titans together to benefit University
Thursday November 20, 2025欧美日b大片 will host its annual Day of Giving on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2.
This 24-hour fundraising campaign is an opportunity for Titans around the world 鈥� alumni, community members, parents, family, friends, faculty, staff and students 鈥� to come together and show support for the University.
It is also much more than a day of giving. It’s a chance for the entire Titan community to celebrate everything we love about the University and create countless opportunities for UDM students.
On Day of Giving, students will also take part in philanthropy activities, including a hot chocolate bar, snacks, and fun games in the Fountain Lounge from 12:30-2 p.m. These activities are open to everyone, and highlight the impact of giving and showcase mission-driven programs such as The Hive, Titan Equity Nourish Network (TENN), Service Immersion Trips and Rx for Reading.
Gifts of all sizes make a difference! Donors can choose exactly where they’d like to make an impact, supporting the areas and programs they’re most passionate about through .
Together, Titans can make a powerful difference, for years to come.

Celebrate Small Business Saturday at Shop the Smalls, Nov. 29
Thursday November 20, 2025Support local businesses and find unique holiday gifts while you enjoy a festive community atmosphere at Small Business Saturday on Nov. 29. In collaboration with the Six Mile Small Business Network, Shop the Smalls is happening along McNichols in three locations:
- Design Studio 6 Artisan Holiday Affair, 8626 W. McNichols Rd., 1-6 p.m.: This festive marketplace features handmade handbags, holiday d茅cor, art, jewelry, home goods, popcorn and more. Perfect for finding one-of-a-kind gifts while supporting local artisans.
- Detroit Sip, 7420 W. McNichols Rd., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Enjoy a cozy atmosphere while browsing small business offerings. For vendor inquiries, email info@detroitsip.com.

TENNsgiving food drive, all November
Wednesday November 19, 2025The Titan Equity Nourish Network (TENN) and the are hosting a month-long food drive this November to support our local community, especially as changes to SNAP benefits increase the need for support.
We are collecting non-perishable and dry food items all month long.
Drop-off locations are as follows:
- College of Health Professions
- Student Union Lower Level Lobby
- Fitness Center Lobby
- Library (drop-off begins after Nov. 17)
- SACD Main Office
No items to bring? You can still help. Monetary donations are being accepted via Venmo @William-Beaumont-1 and will be used to purchase food items for families in need. For any questions or want to get involved, email mannincp@udmercy.edu.

Support local families at Titan men鈥檚 basketball Cans for Calihan game, Nov. 18
Monday November 17, 2025Come out to support the community and cheer on UDM at the Cans for Calihan game on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m., where Titan men鈥檚 basketball will host Eastern Michigan inside historic Calihan Hall.
Bring a canned food item and receive a free ticket to the game. Your donation helps local families while you enjoy an exciting matchup between UDM and Eastern Michigan.

Resources, Centers and Clinics
Center for Social Entrepreneurship
The Center provides business expertise and acumen as well as mentors to assist local entrepreneurs, beginning with the “Boost” workshop that aids entrepreneurs in developing business plans to achieve a greater social impact.
Counseling Clinic
The clinic provides no-cost counseling services to Detroit residents who otherwise may not have access to mental health services.
Dental Center
欧美日b大片 Dental offers dental services and education through two clinics, nine outreach clinics, a mobile dental clinic and a school-based dental sealant program.
Dental Mobile Clinic
The clinic travels to local participating schools in Detroit and Wayne County to provide comprehensive care for K-12 children.Detroit Collaborative Design Center
The design center provides design services to non-profit community and civic organizations to engage communities and enhance neighborhoods.
欧美日b大片 Eye Institute
The 欧美日b大片 Eye Institute includes the state-of-the-art equipment and technology needed to diagnose, monitor, and treat numerous eye conditions. The clinic will also provide affordable eyecare to the uninsured and vulnerable populations.
Law Clinics
欧美日b大片 Law provides legal assistance to Detroit area residents through six clinics: Immigration Law Clinic, SADO Criminal Appellate Clinic, Criminal Trial Clinic, Veterans Law Clinic, Juvenile Law Appellate Clinic and Intellectual Property Law Clinic.
Pre-College Programs
Detroit area students in grades 4-12 participate in more than 15 outreach programs annually through Saturday classes, summer camps, and innovative curricula in the sciences, technology engineering, mathematics, architecture and design.
Psychology Clinic
The Psychology Clinic provides assessment and counseling services for approximately 300 clients annually. Fees are based on ability to pay.
Rx for Reading Program
This program increases access to children’s books and supports families in reading to their children. The program has distributed more than 2,000 children’s books a month at a variety of locations, including low-income health, dental and WIC clinics; homeless shelters; and Head Start programs.
Summer Camps
A variety of summer activities available on UDM Campuses. Some are hosted by UDM; some are simply located on our campuses.
Titan Equity Nourish Network (TENN)
TENN is a student-led and community-driven food justice program that delivers fresh produce to 60 families in New Martin Park Neighborhood and 80 seniors at Theresa Maxis Senior Apartments.
Alliances and Initiatives
Reimagining the Civic Commons
University of 欧美日b大片 serves as one of the institutional anchors for the “Reimaging the Civic Commons” initiative, which is funded through the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation grant. The initiative focuses on the City of Detroit’s neighborhood revitalization priority: the Livernois/McNichols area. The project’s goal is to revitalize the neighborhoods between its two anchor institutions, 欧美日b大片 and Marygrove College, creating a denser and more diverse urban community.
Live6 Alliance
University of 欧美日b大片 helped to launch the Live6 Alliance in August 2015 to strengthen the Livernois Avenue and McNichols Road commercial corridor in northwest Detroit.
Service Immersion Days / Trips
These experiences give students opportunities to serve in shelters, soup kitchens, after school projects, urban farms and many other important community based projects both locally and nationally.
