Biography
Professor Celentino joined the law faculty in 2025. With a career dedicated exclusively to immigration law, her scholarship includes both immigration and administrative law, with a particular focus on crimmigration—the intersection of criminal and immigration law—and public benefits issues affecting immigrants.
A member of the State Bar of Michigan, she brings professional experience with both public interest organizations and private practice. Her background in clinical legal education includes prior service as a teaching fellow and interim clinic director. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and chairs the Michigan chapter’s asylum committee. She also serves on the State Bar of Michigan’s unauthorized practice of law committee.
